I am active, outdoorsy type of guy. I live in the Northern Colorado town of Fort Collins with my wife Stephanie and our two dogs. I love to travel, I’m a very amateur triathlete who’s always trying to improve, and experience has taught me the “normal 9 to 5” doesn’t suit me at all.

I’ve been interested in photography my entire life. When I was a kid I used to drag my dad’s old SLR camera around and take pictures of anything I could find. My interest continued to grow from that point forward and taking pictures would be a hobby for many years to come.

After a brief stay in corporate America trying to put my finance and economics degrees to use I started to pursue jobs that would allow me to use more of my creativity. This lead to several years of multimedia production, web development and graphic design. All of these were better matches, but none really hit the mark the way I wanted them to. Finally I decided it was time to take the leap and purchase enough photo gear to “go pro”. I am now in the very fortunate position of having a job that doesn’t seem like work to me and the rest as they say is history.

Photo Credit: The above photo of Stephanie and I was taken by my very talented nephew, Hunter Huston, an up and coming young photographer based out of Yelm, Washington.
